Local sports updates in Albacete and Soria

Albacete Balompié continued its ‘Pasión por el Campo’ initiative with a visit to El Bonillo. The project aims to strengthen ties between the football club and rural municipalities within the province. During the visit, player Víctor San Bartolomé and the club mascot, Quecete, engaged with young fans in the town.

In handball, Urbana Balonmano Soria has secured three consecutive victories, moving into fourth place in the league standings. After a slow start to the season, the team coached by Oriol Castellarnau has improved its defensive performance, most recently winning by twelve goals against Astillero. The team currently holds eight points and remains undefeated after five matchdays.
