Local sports updates in Italy: Bitonto and Tr Azzurra Novara results

In regional football, Bitonto suffered a 2-1 defeat against Soccer Trani in the ninth round of the Puglia Eccellenza championship. Despite a goal from Palazzo in the 68th minute to equalize after Flores had put Trani ahead, a 90th-minute header by Gonzalez secured the win for the hosts. Bitonto coach Francesco Modesto stated that the result did not reflect the team's performance, noting their intensity and the two missed opportunities to take the lead earlier in the match.

In roller hockey, Tr Azzurra Novara secured a 2-1 victory against Amatori Lodi in the Skate Trophy Cup. Despite playing with a numerical disadvantage for six minutes and missing several opportunities, Novara equalized through Puccinelli and secured the win with a late goal by Cardella. The victory puts Novara in a position to qualify for the ‘Final 4’ if they defeat Hrc Monza in their upcoming match on October 24.
