Local student festivals and audiovisual projects celebrated in Argentina

In Sierra Grande, the 12th edition of the ‘A Rodar Escuelas’ festival concluded with participation from various educational institutions. Among more than 440 provincial entries, seventh-grade students from Escuela Primaria N.º 62 were recognized for their short film ‘Pantallas entrecortadas’, which was selected as one of the 18 top productions in the province. Additionally, Escuela Primaria N.º 141 from Arroyo Ventana received a special mention for ‘Gomitas saludables’. The event included workshops, production talks, and the distribution of resources to support future student audiovisual projects.

In Sarmiento, the municipality celebrated the 2026 ‘Farándula Estudiantil’ parade. Local authorities highlighted the event as a collaborative effort between the municipal government and the educational community. Secondary schools presented various themes, including ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, a commemoration of Malvinas veterans, and ‘Descendants’. The festivities were supported by logistical coordination and safety briefings involving local firefighters and urban guards.
