Local urban and cultural projects underway in Düzce and Kocaeli

In Düzce, Mayor Dr. Faruk Özlü is overseeing a major urban transformation project in the Kültür Mahallesi district. The initiative aims to create a unified 46-decare central park by integrating the 15 Temmuz Şehitleri Park and a synthetic grass sports field. The project focuses on creating architectural harmony around a local monument, ensuring the surrounding green spaces complement the monument's unique design to form a single, cohesive urban park.

In Kocaeli, the Metropolitan Municipality is preparing the ‘103 Works: Colors of the Republic’ exhibition to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the Republic. Held at the İzmit Fuarpark Art Gallery, the exhibition will feature works from 103 different artists, including academics, educators, and students. Deputy Mayor Berna Abiş visited the artists during the preparation phase to inspect the progress of the canvases intended to reflect the values of independence and unity.
