Local vocational training programs launched in Uruguay and Argentina

Local government initiatives in Uruguay and Argentina are focusing on vocational training and social inclusion through practical workshops and professional internships.

In Salto, Uruguay, the Social Development Directorate organized a pizza-making workshop at the Don Atilio neighborhood's IPRU facilities. Led by instructor Luis Núñez, the program aims to provide community members with practical tools and skills to foster personal growth and new economic opportunities beyond basic social assistance.

In Argentina, students from the Escuela de Formación Integral (EFI) Nº 534 have begun professional practices at the Municipal Candy Factory. This program allows students to produce goods following national food safety standards for sale in local markets and fairs. Additionally, the agreement provides students with access to the Municipal Farm to support their studies in agrotourism and rural production.
