Local volleyball debuts in Italy

Several Italian volleyball teams are preparing for home debuts in their respective leagues.

In the Serie A2 Credem Banca men's championship, Joy Volley Gioia del Colle will host Abba Pineto at Pala Capurso on Sunday, October 25. Following a recent away match in Fano, the Gioia del Colle squad aims to secure their first points of the season. Abba Pineto enters the match with a renewed roster under the technical guidance of Brazilian coach Cezar Douglas Silva.

In the women's B1 national championship, Alessandria Volley is set to make its home debut at PalaCima this Saturday, October 24, against Phi Volley La Maddalena. The event will feature a community focus, including awareness initiatives against violence against women and the inauguration of a new defibrillator donated by local Lions Clubs. The match follows Alessandria's recent away victory against Cus Torino.
