Television actress Akanksha Chamola announced on the reality series *Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa* that she now identifies as asexual, saying she has no desire for sexual contact with anyone. The statement came days after she and actor Gaurav Khanna confirmed they are heading for divorce after living apart for nearly a year. Chamola previously revealed she was bisexual before her marriage. In the show, she told fellow contestant Varun Yadav (Laila) that a “deep fear” has set in and that, “I don’t want sex now, neither from men nor from women,” describing this phase as asexuality. She added she plans to remain single and is “happy the way I am.” Khanna responded that he still respects and supports her, noting that they remain legally married.
