Lockheed Martin increases dividend for 24th consecutive year
Lockheed Martin has authorized a fourth-quarter dividend of $3.60 per share, marking a 4.3 percent increase from the previous $3.45. This represents the company’s 24th consecutive year of annual dividend hikes.
The dividend is scheduled to be paid on December 31, 2026, to shareholders of record as of December 1, 2026. At a share price near $532, the new annualized dividend of $14.40 per share results in an indicated yield of approximately 2.7 percent.
This payout increase follows a period of significant growth for the defense contractor. In the second quarter of 2026, Lockheed Martin reported sales of $20.1 billion, an 11 percent year-over-year increase, and net earnings of $1.8 billion. The company’s total backlog has expanded to $230.4 billion, driven largely by increased demand in the Missiles and Fire Control segment, including production for PAC-3 and THAAD interceptor systems.
