Lockton conducts technical visit to Port of Santos

Lockton, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, held its fourth technical visit to the Port of Santos in partnership with the law firm Machado e Cremoneze. The initiative aimed to address the challenges of port operations and risk management within the maritime and logistics sectors.

The event brought together clients, partners, and specialists to discuss the specificities and risks associated with operating the largest port complex in Latin America. The program included lectures by Simone Ramos, Lockton’s Director of Ports and Logistics, and Dr. Paulo Cremoneze, a specialist in maritime and insurance law.

Participants engaged in an immersive experience, including a schooner tour around the port perimeter, to observe operational dynamics and debate strategic issues regarding risk management and activity safety.
