Lockwood Ward candidate reports business targeting and vandalism

Independent candidate Ajay Mishra has reported that local businesses are being targeted due to their support for his campaign during the Lockwood Ward council byelection. Mishra stated that businesses displaying his campaign signs have faced negative online reviews intended to discourage customers from visiting.

In addition to the targeting of businesses, Mishra reported that several of his campaign signs have been stolen or vandalized. He also noted that his campaign has been subject to racist commentary on social media, some of which originated from individuals claiming to be located interstate.
