Loco Strada festival attracts 12,500 visitors to Zwolle

The inaugural edition of the Loco Strada International Street Theater Festival attracted approximately 12,500 visitors to the city center of Zwolle. Held on August 22 and 23, the event featured eleven different performances, including circus acts, comedy, and music, staged in various locations such as Diezerstraat and Ter Pelkwijkpark.

Festival producer Frens Jorian noted the success of the event, highlighting how the use of public spaces allowed both dedicated festival-goers and casual passersby to engage with the performances. Following this successful debut, plans are being made to build upon this foundation for a second edition in 2027.
