Lodosa Festival Launch Highlights Social Protest

At noon on 30 July 2026, the town of Lodosa in northern Spain rang the traditional "Chupinazo" to start its annual patron saint festivities. The streets filled with residents and visitors dressed in white and red, but the ceremony also featured a strong social‑justice message. Organisers used the occasion to recognise the citizen platform Stop Biometano, linking the celebration to local environmental and labour concerns.
