Lodosa house fire kills four pets and forces neighbor evacuations

A house fire in Lodosa, Spain, occurred during the early hours of the morning, resulting in the deaths of four pets: three cats and one dog. The fire broke out in a third-floor apartment, and while the two occupants managed to escape on foot without injury, the blaze caused significant material damage.

The smoke from the fire affected neighboring homes, forcing several residents to evacuate and spend the night with relatives. Emergency services worked to extinguish the flames, successfully putting out the fire by 01:29 hours.

Preliminary reports suggest the fire may have originated in the kitchen, though the Guardia Civil is conducting an investigation to confirm the exact cause. A full inspection of the property was initially delayed due to the high concentration of smoke.
