Loewe and Zara debut major new designer collections

The fashion industry is seeing significant creative shifts through major designer collections and high-profile collaborations.

Loewe, celebrating its 180th anniversary, presented its Spring Summer 2027 menswear collection at the Château de Vincennes. Creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez introduced a wardrobe that blends American sportswear archetypes—such as polo shirts, chinos, and blazers—with Spanish heritage and meticulous craftsmanship. The collection emphasizes wearable, considered pieces that move between 'old world' and 'new world' influences, utilizing materials like leather, suede, and technical fabrics.

Simultaneously, Zara has launched a major two-year creative partnership with designer John Galliano titled ‘Re{form} Zara’. This collaboration focuses on deconstructing and reimagining garments from Zara’s own archives using haute couture techniques. The first collection, ‘Re{form} Zara Authored by the Couturier John Galliano’, transforms basic items like shirts, coats, and dresses into dramatic, sculptural pieces with asymmetrical cuts and historical influences reminiscent of Galliano’s work at Dior and Maison Margiela.
