Lofoten Islands residents prepare to return to the United States

Charles Post and Rachel Pohl, a marketing strategist and an artist, are preparing to leave their remote home in Flakstad, located in Norway's Lofoten Islands, to return to Montana, USA.

After living in the Arctic for four and a half years, the couple has decided to put their farmhouse on the market. They originally moved from Bozeman to Norway to seek a new lifestyle, navigating challenges such as learning a new language, launching businesses in a foreign country, and securing skilled worker visas.

Reflecting on their experience, the couple noted that while they achieved their goal of finding a place to call home, they are ready for their next adventure. They plan to relocate back to the United States this fall.
