Lofree Flow 2 keyboard review highlights excellent typing with design flaws

The Lofree Flow 2 is a premium low-profile mechanical keyboard featuring an aluminum construction and a minimalist design. The 84-key Mac version, priced at $159, utilizes the new Cloud Series Surfer linear switches, though other configurations are available with Void linear or Pulse tactile switches.

While the keyboard offers an excellent typing experience that can increase typing speed, it faces criticism for several design choices. Notable drawbacks include an awkward side-mounted USB-C port, a lack of dedicated storage for the wireless receiver, an accidental-prone touch strip, and a difficult VIA setup process. Despite these flaws, it competes in the premium market alongside brands such as Keychron, NuPhy, and Logitech.
