Jake and Logan Paul to host new combat sports reality series

Brothers Jake and Logan Paul are set to coach rival teams in a new unscripted combat sports reality competition series for ESPN and Hulu. The project, previously known by the working title ‘Fight Island’, marks the first time Disney has co-greenlit a series between the Hulu and ESPN brands.

Scheduled for production in 2027, the series will feature contestants living and training together in a ‘wild’ setting. Unlike traditional reality shows, eliminations will be determined by fights rather than votes. Competitors will participate in various disciplines, including MMA, boxing, professional wrestling, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and karate. The competition will continue until one man and one woman are declared winners.

The series is produced by Wheelhouse and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). Casting is currently open to elite professional and amateur fighters who are at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States. Applicants must meet specific criteria, including having no felony convictions within the last ten years and not being currently involved in political candidacy.
