Logan Stanley remains unsigned in NHL free agency
Defenseman Logan Stanley remains an unsigned free agent following a career-high statistical season. Despite a productive year that included nine goals and 21 points with the Winnipeg Jets before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres, Stanley has yet to secure a new contract.
Market interest may be limited by his injury history and a high initial asking price. While he previously sought a long-term deal worth approximately $4 million AAV, he is now expected to settle for a shorter one- or two-year contract valued between $2 million and $3.5 million AAV.
Potential suitors currently linked to the 6'7" defenseman include the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Philadelphia Flyers, and San Jose Sharks. The Penguins and Ducks are considered strong candidates as both teams look to bolster their defensive depth.
