LogicMonitor expands Autonomous IT tools and AI capabilities
LogicMonitor has announced the expansion of its Autonomous IT platform, introducing new AI capabilities designed to assist IT teams in investigating and resolving technical issues with reduced manual effort. The updates, which include the Edwin AI investigation layer, are now available to businesses in Southeast Asia.
The platform enhancement focuses on broader telemetry by incorporating more application logs, cost signals, and support for open standards like OpenTelemetry. To manage data security, the company is implementing partition-level access controls and governance tools, such as audit trails and permissions, to ensure human oversight during automation. Edwin AI can also be integrated into existing workflows via platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and ServiceNow.
During the company’s Elevate event, insights were shared regarding the shift toward AI-driven observability. For example, GlobalFoundries reported a 98% reduction in alert noise through the use of Edwin AI. The industry trend indicates a move from traditional monitoring toward autonomous workflows that connect performance, availability, and resource utilization.
