Logistics and automation events to be held in Madrid

The upcoming Empack, Logistics & Automation, and Logistic & Industrial Build Madrid 2026 events will take place on November 11 and 12 at IFEMA Madrid. Organized by Easyfairs, the congresses will feature a diverse program of lectures, roundtables, and workshops focused on the application of the new European packaging framework, the integration of artificial intelligence in operations, and the design of future-ready logistics assets.

Participants include organizations such as AENA, Amazon, El Corte Inglés, Renfe Mercancías, and the Comunidad de Madrid. The Empack congress will feature a dedicated PPWR Academy to assist companies in understanding the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), alongside sessions on sustainability, circular economy, and branding.

In the logistics sector, Spanish software company Yunbit is set to present its new Yunbit Planner Logístico module at the Logistics & Automation fair. The tool aims to unify warehouse management and personnel planning by integrating workload calculations with human resources data, such as shifts and employee skills, to improve operational efficiency in real time.
