Logistics and transport sectors evolve through technology and specialized equipment

Logistics centers are evolving to prioritize intelligence, sustainability, and flexibility to meet changing market demands. According to José Sáenz, general manager of Megacentro Perú, modern infrastructure must accommodate diverse activities such as e-commerce, cross-docking, and light manufacturing. This requires designs that allow for the integration of automation and robotics, which necessitate specific floor characteristics like high levels of flatness.

In the transportation sector, Dongfeng has introduced the Captain C 6.5 truck to improve fleet efficiency. The vehicle features a 6.5-ton load capacity and is powered by a 3.0-liter Cummins engine delivering 185 HP. It includes a six-speed Fast Gear transmission and a comprehensive safety package consisting of ABS, EBD, ESC, and various sensor systems to support diverse business operations.
