J&T Express has invested over R$ 75 million to open a new distribution center in Guarulhos, Brazil. The facility features a state-of-the-art three-story automated sorting system capable of processing more than 2 million packages per day. The investment includes R$ 71 million specifically for advanced sorting technology, including cross-belt automated systems and DWS (Dimensioning, Weighing, and Scanning) equipment. The center aims to reduce transit times by at least 10 hours.

In Mexico, Amazon has announced plans to expand its operations in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, with a new 40,000-square-meter logistics center. Scheduled to open in 2027, the facility is located near the Guadalajara International Airport and is expected to create more than 1,000 new jobs for the region.
