Logistics expansions in France: PRO à PRO and ID Logistics launch new sites

Two significant logistics developments have been announced in France. PRO à PRO has inaugurated a new 18,300 m² tri-temperature warehouse in Château-Gontier. The €26 million investment consolidates the distributor’s grocery, fresh, and frozen food activities into a single site to serve 5,500 clients across 16 departments. The facility employs 190 staff members, including 40 new recruits, and is capable of processing 11,000 to 12,000 order lines daily.

In Troyes, ID Logistics has begun operations at a 50,000 m² facility in Saint-Léger-près-Troyes. Operating under a 12-year lease, the site serves as a ‘One Distribution Center’ (1DC) for Amazon. This specialized facility combines cross-docking and storage to manage high-rotation products, which are then used to replenish larger fulfillment centers. The site is expected to eventually employ between 350 and 400 staff members.
