Logistics providers expand services to support India's export and manufacturing growth

Logistics providers are expanding operations to support India's growing manufacturing and export sectors. Emirates SkyCargo is increasing its support for Indian exports, utilizing over 3,000 tonnes of weekly air cargo capacity across nine gateways to connect manufacturers to global markets in the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

During FY 2025/26, Emirates SkyCargo transported over 153,000 tonnes of exports from India, focusing on sectors such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, high-tech electronics, automotive components, and fashion. The carrier moves an average of 650 tonnes of pharmaceuticals and 600 tonnes of fresh food weekly via Dubai.

Domestically, Allcargo Logistics is strengthening supply chain connectivity for textile MSMEs in the Mau and Surat clusters. The company aims to improve efficiency and market reach for both the traditional handloom ecosystem in Mau and the large-scale manufacturing base in Surat, providing enhanced shipment visibility and distribution networks.
