Logistics providers prepare for increased e-commerce demand

Logistics companies are scaling infrastructure to meet rising e-commerce demands during major promotional periods. In Brazil, Intelipost projects processing approximately 108 million freight quotes on Black Friday 2026 alone, representing a 14% increase compared to 2025. For the full period from November 26 through Cyber Monday, the platform estimates it will handle 412 million quotes and 3.6 million orders.

In the Iberian Peninsula, InPost has reached a milestone of 6,000 automated lockers, establishing the largest smart locker network in the region. This expansion of its Out-of-Home (OOH) delivery model aims to enhance convenience for consumers during the Black Friday and Christmas seasons by providing flexible pickup locations such as service stations, shopping centers, and supermarkets.
