Logitech releases MX Keypad standalone for AI workflows

Logitech has released the MX Keypad as a standalone product, previously only available as part of the MX Creative Console. Priced at approximately 100 euros, the device features a 3x3 grid of nine LCD-screen keys designed to streamline workflows involving artificial intelligence and software development.

Developed in collaboration with GitHub, the keypad allows users to execute prompt macros, code refactoring, and specific commands for tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, VS Code, and IntelliJ IDEA. Through the Logi Options+ software, users can customize icons and functions, with the ability to scroll through up to 15 pages of assignments per application, providing a theoretical total of 135 actions per program.

The 96-gram device connects via USB-C and is compatible with Windows and macOS. Beyond development tools, it supports various applications including Figma, Slack, Zoom, Spotify, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Developers can also create custom integrations using the Logi Actions SDK.
