Logitech reports second quarter revenue of $1.22 billion
Logitech International reported second quarter revenue of $1.22 billion for its 2027 fiscal year, representing a 3% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s adjusted operating profit reached $231 million, exceeding both analyst expectations of $204 million and the company’s own guidance of $185 million to $210 million.
Growth was driven by strong performance in the United States and demand for video conferencing and gaming products. The company also launched 19 new products for the holiday season. The GAAP gross margin rose to 44.90%, up 1.5 percentage points from the previous year.
Regarding supply chain risks, the impact of a semiconductor supplier's factory closure was less severe than initially anticipated. While Logitech originally projected a $200 million revenue loss due to this issue, the expected impact has been reduced to between $70 million and $80 million following the identification of alternative suppliers and the reopening of the affected facility in September. Full production capacity is expected to be restored by the end of 2026.
For the third quarter, Logitech provided revenue guidance of $1.36 billion to $1.43 billion and an adjusted operating profit forecast of $220 million to $255 million.
