Logos Technologies to host cybersecurity summit in Padova
Logos Technologies will host the ‘Cyber Resilience Sync’ event in Padova on October 22 at the GA-Alliance headquarters. The initiative aims to bring together entrepreneurs and IT/OT professionals, primarily from the manufacturing sector, to address increasing cyber threats and new regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, CRA, and the AI Act.
Data from the CLUSIT Report indicates that Italy is a major target for digital offensives, accounting for over 10% of global cyberattacks and surpassing countries like France and Germany in threat volume. Approximately 68% of these incidents are economically motivated cybercrimes. The manufacturing, healthcare, government, and military sectors are among the most affected.
The financial impact on businesses is significant: small and medium-sized enterprises face average costs exceeding €100,000, while large companies can see costs surpass €1 million. Most critically, 60% of small businesses affected by such attacks close within six months of the incident.
