Loja, Ecuador launches international business round as Curicó, Chile hosts tech‑agro summit
The Provincial Government of Loja, Ecuador, opened the first International Business, Investment and Productive Cooperation Wheel, branded “Loja Exporta 2026,” on 30 July 2026. The two‑day event gathered ambassadors from India, Italy, South Korea and Bulgaria, along with investors and producers, to showcase the province’s export potential, attract foreign investment and foster trade cooperation. Prefect Mario Mancino highlighted the opportunity to position Loja as a competitive export hub while also exploring import prospects.
In Chile, the Autonomous University of Chile and Universidad Católica del Maule are preparing NEXXO Maule 2026, a two‑day gathering in Curicó on 5‑6 August 2026. Backed by Corfo, the summit will bring together experts from the United States, Singapore and South Korea to promote agro‑industrial innovation, sustainability and technology adoption. The program includes a technology fair, workshops and keynote talks aimed at regional entrepreneurs, startups and agribusiness firms.
