Loja hosts international business and investment round

The Prefectura de Loja hosted the First International Round of Business, Investment, and Productive Cooperation to promote regional economic development. The event aimed to connect local producers of goods such as coffee, cacao, and handicrafts with international markets.

The initiative facilitated economic diplomacy by involving representatives from various nations, including ambassadors from South Korea, Italy, and India, as well as chambers of commerce from France and China, and representatives from Bulgaria and German Cooperation. The event highlighted the role of provincial governments in acting as articulators for the internationalization of local productive sectors.
