Lok Sabha Secretariat Director Gaurav Gautam Found Dead in Noida, Suicide Note Cites Loan

Gaurav Gautam, a joint director of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in his Noida apartment (Kendriya Vihar‑II Society, Sector 82). His wife, returning home, found the body and police were called to the scene.

A ten‑page suicide note recovered at the flat references a loan of roughly 70 lakh rupees and describes economic hardship and mental stress. Investigators are examining the note and other evidence while questioning family members and associates. The case is being treated as a suicide, with a post‑mortem and forensic analysis underway.
