Lokomotiv Plovdiv and CSKA Sofia to clash in Bulgarian Cup final

Lokomotiv Plovdiv will meet CSKA Sofia in the 2025/26 Bulgarian Cup final on 20 May. The match is scheduled for 19:00 at Sofia’s Vasil Levski National Stadium and is expected to draw over 30,000 fans.

The winner will claim the domestic trophy and secure a qualification slot for the UEFA Europa League. CSKA, holders of 21 cup titles most recently in 2021, previously beat Ludogorets in the semi‑finals, while Lokomotiv advanced after a 5‑1 aggregate win over Arda.

The final will be broadcast live on the Diema Sport channel. Both clubs have a recent history in the final, with their last encounter in 2020 when CSKA lifted the cup on penalties.
