Lokomotiv Plovdiv defeats Fribourg Olympic in FIBA Cup

Lokomotiv Plovdiv secured its second victory in Group H of the FIBA Cup by defeating the Swiss side Fribourg Olympic with a score of 95:83 at the Sila Hall. The Bulgarian runners-up now hold a 2-2 record in the tournament, moving ahead of Fribourg Olympic, who sit at 1-3.

Under the leadership of Asen Nikolov, Lokomotiv Plovdiv established an early lead, ending the first quarter 24:11 and the first half 45:31. Although the Swiss team narrowed the gap to five points in the third quarter, Lokomotiv Plovdiv stabilized its defense to regain a double-digit lead before the final period.

Three players scored over 20 points for the winning side: Jomaru Brown led with 29 points, followed by Tomislav Minkov with 24, and DeVerl Ramsey with 23 points and 9 assists.
