Lokomotiv Plovdiv fans raise 35,000 euros to clear club debts

Supporters of the Bulgarian football club Lokomotiv Plovdiv have raised 35,000 euros through a donation campaign launched in early October 2026. The funds were accumulated in less than 48 hours to provide financial stability and support the club's operations, infrastructure, or technical processes.

The fan association ‘The Magic of Plovdiv’ announced that the collected funds have already been used to clear the club's outstanding debts to the police, the water utility (ViK), and the electricity provider (EVN). Additionally, the group has covered the salaries of coaches in the youth academy through the month of August.

Organizers stated that the fundraising initiative is ongoing, with no set end date, as they aim to continue addressing accumulated problems and building a more stable future for the team.
