Lokomotiv Plovdiv launches donation campaign amid financial crisis
Lokomotiv Plovdiv football club has launched a donation campaign to address a critical financial situation. The club has established two separate bank accounts to ensure transparency and allow supporters to choose where their contributions are directed.
One account is dedicated specifically to the senior men's first team to cover operational costs, including league participation, training, player and coach salaries, and logistics. The second account is intended for the club's youth academy to support the development of young talents, including training conditions and equipment.
The initiative follows an announcement by owner Hristo Krusharski that he would cease funding the club. The decision to open these accounts was prompted by numerous requests from fans wishing to support the team during this difficult period. The club stated it will strive to maintain accountability regarding the receipt and expenditure of all donated funds.
