Lokomotiv Plovdiv seeks new owner after funding withdrawal

Lokomotiv Plovdiv has issued a statement regarding the club’s current ownership and financial status. Following the withdrawal of Hristo Krusharski from the club’s funding and operational activities, the football club is currently without active management.

The club confirmed that while discussions are underway with interested parties regarding the acquisition of shares, no concrete agreement has been reached. There is currently no specific timeline for finding a new owner.

To maintain daily operations and cover essential expenses, the club is relying on revenue from ticket sales and other operational income. Management emphasized that funds from supporters are vital for the club’s immediate survival and ongoing maintenance.
