Lola Latorre faces plagiarism claims over new Sorbo brand launch

Influencer Lola Latorre is facing accusations of plagiarism following the launch of Sorbo, a new hydration line featuring electrolytes enriched with collagen. Social media users have criticized the brand, noting significant similarities between Sorbo’s marketing campaign and the aesthetic of Hailey Bieber’s brand, Rhode.

Critics pointed to similarities in packaging, typography, photography, and overall visual style. In response to the backlash, Latorre addressed the situation during an appearance on Bondi Live. She explained that while she is the face of the brand, she was not responsible for the creative direction or the specific photographic references used by the production team.

Latorre admitted that the final images were very similar to Bieber’s, stating that the creative team used reference boards from international campaigns. She expressed frustration with the creative directors, noting that the use of artificial intelligence and specific editing resulted in images that appeared nearly identical to those of Rhode.
