Lola Marois and Jean-Marie Bigard recount premature birth of twins at six months

French actress Lola Marois and comedian Jean‑Marie Bigard revealed that their twins, Jules and Bella, were born at just six months gestation after a complicated pregnancy. The babies weighed only 690 g and 780 g and required immediate emergency care. Marois described the moment she learned she was in labor as terrifying, saying she was "really petrified" and that the newborns were "in a state of suspense for a month" while under constant neonatal monitoring.

The couple said the pregnancy was marked by an early opening of the cervix at five and a half months, forced bed rest, and contractions that led to an urgent hospital admission. After a brief period of holding the babies, they were transferred to intensive care where they gradually improved, allowing the family to regain hope after weeks of anxiety.
