Lomé hosts cultural performances and youth awareness concerts

Lomé recently hosted two significant cultural events at major venues. At the Théâtre du Karnak, the performer ALSYDY presented ‘Chronique d’un Silence’, a unique blend of storytelling and theatre. Inspired by Moussa Konaté’s novel ‘L’empreinte du renard’, the production explores the tension between modern and traditional worlds through the tragic story of Sidi, a member of the Dogon people in Mali.

Simultaneously, the Palais des congrès de Lomé hosted a two-day concert by Joachin Migos, organized by CDK Group. The event aimed to combine musical entertainment with social awareness for the youth. During the performances, including a slam poetry segment, organizers used the platform to deliver educational messages regarding the dangers of drug and alcohol consumption, as well as sexual health issues.
