Lomazzo and San Fermo della Battaglia install new cyclist‑safety signage

In Lomazzo, a series of "salvaciclisti" signs were mounted along via Montebianco at the municipal border, creating a continuous safety corridor between the Saronnese area and the Statale dei Giovi. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Paola Molteni, cyclist Antonio Cortese of the "Io Rispetto il Ciclista" campaign, local police officers and representatives of cycling clubs.

A week later, San Fermo della Battaglia unveiled similar signs on via Roma near a roundabout. The unveiling, held on 1 August, featured Mayor Pierluigi Mascetti, Antonio Cortese and local officials. Both initiatives aim to remind drivers to keep a safe distance when overtaking cyclists, promoting respect and safer road sharing in the respective towns.
