Lombardy allocates 745,000 euros for Milan public housing

The Lombardy Region has allocated a total of 745,000 euros to support Aler public housing in Milan. This funding is divided into two primary objectives: 345,000 euros for the maintenance of buildings and 400,000 euros to strengthen security and surveillance in high-risk neighborhoods.

The maintenance funds are intended to address urgent repairs to common areas, systems, and general building conditions, with an operational plan required to be completed by 2026. Regional Councilor for Housing and Social Housing, Paolo Franco, stated that these punctual maintenance interventions are essential for the quality of life of residents in public housing.

The security portion of the budget aims to enhance vigilance in specific areas, including Molise and Gratosoglio, as part of a broader regional strategy to manage social housing and combat vandalism and property damage.
