Lombardy Councilor Debora Massari visits Como to promote local industry

Debora Massari, the Lombardy Regional Councilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing, Fashion, and Major Events, conducted a visit to the Como area to highlight local industrial and cultural excellence. The itinerary focused on the intersection of manufacturing and tourism, featuring stops at the Museo della Seta, the Silkomo textile company in Tavernerio, and the musical instrument manufacturer Bulgheroni.

Massari emphasized the importance of supporting small businesses and artisanal traditions, noting that tourism and manufacturing can mutually benefit one another by bringing attention to production sites and offering unique experiences. Beppe Pisani, National President of CNA Fashion Supply Chain, expressed support for the initiative, highlighting the need to address sustainability, digital and ecological transitions, and the preservation of 'Made in Italy' through training for younger generations.
