Lombardy councilor Roberto Anelli urges extra funds and inter‑municipal pact to curb baby‑gang crimes on Bergamo‑Albino

On 29 July 2026, Lega regional councilor Roberto Anelli presented an order of the day to the Lombardy government, requesting that the Fontana administration evaluate a collaborative safety agreement among all municipalities served by the TEB T1 Bergamo‑Albino commuter rail line. The line carries more than three million passengers a year, with peaks of about 13,500 daily users, mainly students and commuters. Recent incidents on the route – including an armed robbery at Ranica station and assaults on teenagers in Albino – have been linked to youth “baby gangs”.
