Lombardy expands international sports and cycling tourism profile

The Lombardy region is expanding its profile in international sports and sustainable tourism. The Gran Milano Bike Hub has been launched, integrating the territories of Milan, Monza Brianza, and Lodi into a single cycling tourism destination. This initiative, promoted by the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce, features an integrated network of approximately 2,000 km of paths suitable for various bicycle types, including road, gravel, MTB, and e-bikes.

In addition to cycling developments, the region continues to host major international sporting events. The Cremona Circuit Angelo Bergamonti is set to host the Eicma Italian Round of the WorldSBK from September 25 to 27. This marks the third consecutive year for the event at the circuit, following the recent record-breaking attendance at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza.
