Lombardy healthcare innovation: 50 projects recognized by LIUC Business School

Fifty innovative healthcare projects from across the Lombardy region have been recognized as part of the second edition of the “Best Practices Socio-Sanitarie in Regione Lombardia: misurare per innovare” call. Organized by the LIUC Business School through the PERFORMA Observatory, the initiative collected proposals from 24 local health authorities (ASST) and five ATS agencies.

The selected projects focus on three primary areas: prevention and health promotion, care for disabilities and fragility through person-centered pathways, and the integration of organizational models to redesign processes.

Notable initiatives include a specialized gynecological clinic by ASST Pavia designed for women with disabilities, featuring simplified access and trained staff. In the Brescia area, ASST Franciacorta presented digital communication strategies using social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to engage younger populations in health prevention. Additionally, projects from Spedali Civili di Brescia and ASST Franciacorta aim to strengthen community health centers and improve the connection between hospital services and local territory.
