Lombardy is hosting several initiatives focused on youth development in the agricultural and athletic sectors. In Varese, the Oscar Green 2026 awards will be presented to young agricultural entrepreneurs to recognize innovation and creativity in the industry. The event includes a conference on the use of drones and new technologies to address climate challenges in farming.

Simultaneously, the 2026 edition of 'Progetto Talento' has launched in the athletics sector. Supported by Regione Lombardia with an 80,000 euro contribution, the program involves a record 106 athletes aged 15 to 22 from 42 different clubs. The initiative aims to support the growth of promising track and field talents through specialized training sessions.
