Lombardy offers new job training and internship programs

Various professional training and internship opportunities have been announced for unemployed residents in the Lombardy region, specifically targeting the Monza and Brianza areas.

The Municipality of Monza is offering 21 internships through the DoteComune program. These 12-month positions, starting in November 2026, cover various departments including social services, local police, and environmental planning. Participants will receive a monthly allowance of 500 euros and can earn certifications recognized by Anci Lombardia.

Additionally, the Consorzio Desio Brianza is providing free vocational courses funded by the Dote Inserimento Lavorativo (DIL). These programs include technical training for welders, covering MIG, TIG, and MAG processes, as well as training for canteen workers. These courses are open to unemployed individuals aged 16 to 65 and aim to facilitate reintegration into the workforce through practical skills and job orientation services.
