Lombardy President Fontana highlights Eicma 2026 importance

Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region, emphasized the role of major international events in enhancing the territory's global credibility during a press conference for Eicma 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 8 at Rho Fiera in Milan.

Fontana noted that successful large-scale events serve as a tool to increase international presence and attract investors, stating that Lombardy is already Europe's most attractive region for investment. He credited the region's positive economic performance to local entrepreneurs and the continued relevance of trade fairs, which allow for direct interaction between producers and consumers.
