Lombardy sports clubs receive awards for social impact and athletic success

Several sports organizations in the Lombardy region have received institutional recognition for their achievements and social contributions.

ASD La Rete, based in Busto Garolfo, was awarded a prize by the Fondazione Costruiamo il Futuro during a ceremony at Allianz MiCo in Milan. The award recognizes the club’s commitment to social inclusion and community support beyond competitive football. President Emilio Crespi noted that the recognition validates the work of volunteers and the club’s role as a social reference point.

Additionally, the Lombardy Regional Council honored the athletes of ASD Nuova Ginfit from Azzate at Palazzo Pirelli. The eight gymnasts were recognized for their national titles won in Cesenatico and Rimini. Regional officials highlighted the importance of supporting young athletes as a means of education and social cohesion.
