LOMLOE-based initial assessment tools for 5-year-old students

Educational resources have been developed for the initial assessment of 5-year-old students in early childhood education, aligned with the LOMLOE framework. These tools are designed to observe students' starting points regarding acquired learning, autonomy, communicative skills, and social development at the beginning of the school year.

The assessment covers three primary areas: Growth in Harmony, Discovery and Exploration of the Environment, and Communication and Representation of Reality. Specific indicators include physical coordination, emotional expression, logical thinking, spatial and temporal orientation, and oral language proficiency.

These resources aim to provide teachers with a global view of each child's strengths and learning rhythms through direct observation, play, and classroom activities. This information is intended to facilitate the planning of adapted educational measures and pedagogical documentation without turning the initial weeks into a series of formal tests.
